Server Installation & Configuration – We can install every facet of the server at your location according to your specifications.  We configure Active Directory permissions, IP address ranges, SQL, Exchange (e-mail) servers, Blackberry Enterprise Servers, and file servers.

Server Maintenance – Firmware is updated, check Active Directory network file permissions, backups, check exchange servers and mailbox quotas.

Active Directory – Active Directory is an integral part of your server that controls access to files for users and groups. Pixel 8 IT installs the Active Directory parameters, sets up the user groups, attaches file storage to users, and audits the directory to ensure its proper usage.

Group Policy – This protocol is used at the domain level and allows you to be in complete control of your network.  This allows permissions as to who can log on, when they can log on and what may be accessed by that person within the network.  This adds an increased level of network security in conjunction with hardware devices such as firewalls and layer 3 switches.

Exchange (Mirosoft’s e-mail program) - We can set up user e-mail accounts, calendars, tasks, and contacts.  We also set up alias accounts and audit the exchange server. Worried about losing e-mails? Try our mailbox backup utilities.

SQL – This database management system is implemented to help with server management and administrative functions. This allows the retrieval, insertion, updating and deletion of data.

Blackberry Enterprise Server –This server will help you maintain all information in a secure location allowing migration from one Blackberry to another without loss of data. It also allows management of multiple phones, audits, updates and lock downs.

Application & Fileserver –We are able to set up applications to run remotely through your fileserver. We can also set up group permissions allowing read/write access to certain files, folders or applications.

Remote Back-up –We can set up your server to securely back-up remotely to our SAS 70 type 2 certified server clusters.  Your data will be encrypted at 256-bit encryption and password protected by you, then mirrored to protect data integrity.
